This autumn, we invite you to slow down in the heart of the Dolomites for a long weekend inspired by nature, creativity, and the changing season.
Together with @samsara.community, we'll explore the forests surrounding Selva di Cadore through guided hikes, learning to identify wild mushrooms alongside a local expert before discovering how they can become natural pigments during a mushroom dyeing workshop.
This trip is an invitation to reconnect with nature through movement, creativity, and local traditions, celebrating the beauty of the mountains as they prepare for winter.

trekking and mushroom picking
We'll spend our days exploring the Dolomites on guided hikes suitable for anyone with a good level of fitness. Along the way, a local mushroom expert will introduce us to the fascinating world of wild mushrooms, teaching us how to identify the different species that grow throughout the forests while wearing the new Dharma Boots by Samsara.

natural dyeing with mushrooms
After gathering mushrooms in the forest, the team from Samsara will guide us through a natural dyeing workshop, transforming what we've collected into beautiful natural pigments. We'll learn the process behind botanical dyeing and leave with a deeper appreciation for the colours hidden within nature.

We'll stay at Hotel Garni Civetta, a welcoming mountain hotel in Selva di Cadore. With cosy shared rooms for 2 to 4 people, it will be our home throughout the retreat, a place to rest, share meals, and gather after days spent exploring the mountains.
